Traditional 3D Printing Technic with Raster Film
Before 3D Stereoscopic Direct Printing on Paper Technic was independently researched & developed by Hucais, traditional 3D printing technic applied mostly to 3D posters/cards/stickers which we can see in the market. The application of traditional 3D printing technic has great limitations in paper printing & packaging industry due to it must use raster film. If people want the stereoscopic effect of 3D getting more obvious, thicker raster film should be used, but people will be dazzled when people watch the pattern at close range, so it is only suitable for 3D posters/cards/stickers and outdoor advertisements, etc. It is not suitable for printing & packaging products that are held in hand and seen at close range. Meanwhile, the traditional 3Dprinting products, only can print about 100 lines for visual positioning in per inch printing stock, precision is low, printed products visual effect is not high-end, so the market is limited.

New Demands & Current Situation for 3D Printing Technic
3D Stereoscopic Direct Printing on Paper Technic
In order to make 3D printing technic better used in paper printing & packaging industry, Hucais invests a lot of money and sets up a R&D team for 3D stereoscopic direct printing on paper technic with extensive experienced engineers in 2011. In 2012, the R&D project of 3D stereoscopic direct printing on paper technic was officially established and started in R&D. In 2016, 3D stereoscopic direct printing on paper technic was successfully released by Hucais.
Principle of 3D Stereoscopic Direct Printing on Paper Technic
3D stereoscopic direct printing on paper technic is completely different from the traditional 3D printing technic with raster film, it uses 3D printing plate, firstly prints the special glossy vanishing oil on the specified part of the printing stock by 3D printing equipment, and then combines with the rasterized image which has been printed on the printing stock in advance, finally glossy varnishing oil to be solidified and transferred to the surface of the printing stock, thus presenting the 3D naked-eye image on the printing sheet.
Application of 3D Stereoscopic Direct Printing On Paper Technic
For traditional 3D printing technic, the interference effect of light is added on the light refraction, it is more dynamic, with good depth of field and sense of space, more interesting and reduces the difficulty of printing. And the 3D effect can be seen with naked eye from 360° angle.
Based on traditional 3D printing technic, application of 3D stereoscopic direct printing on paper technic is developed, that the effect of light interference is added on the basis of light refraction of traditional 3D printing technic, thereby enhancing the dynamic, depth perception of pattern, enhanceing the fun, and reducing the difficulty of printing and publishing. To achieve naked eyes' 3D effects in full 360 degrees, increase the visual impact, it can play a particularly good decorative effect and can achieve a certain degree of security effects that has the anti-counterfeiting function. This new technic is good for cardboard box, rigid box, cigarettes box, wine box, cosmetics box, electronic box, daily chemical box, and other high-end paper printing & packages.
